AEGIS
For the rebrand of Lebanon’s most prolific electronic music festival, Aegis, we set out to create a symbol that feels discovered rather than designed. Instead of following the visual trends and fleeting aesthetics often associated with music and festival culture, the identity was conceived as something timeless—a mark that could have existed long before the festival itself.
The symbol is rooted in the idea of movement and collective action. Inspired by the pixel, the smallest unit of a larger image, it reflects how individual contributions come together to create something greater than themselves. Just as a single pixel gains meaning through its relationship to others, culture is shaped through the collective efforts of artists, musicians, designers, makers, and communities.
The 2026 edition, Of This Land, is a celebration of place. Created during a period of uncertainty and turmoil, it serves as a reminder of the creativity, resilience, and talent that continue to emerge from Lebanon. From music and design to food, craft, and independent brands, the festival shines a light on what this land continues to produce and the people who continue to shape it.
